Communication module

Fahlke has developed a communication module for hazardous areas. This module can be mounted directly on a controlled installation or device (eg ball valve actuators). No additional weather protection is required because this module is made in IP 66 and can operate at temperatures between -40 ° C and + 80 ° C. Communication module is also available in IP 68 (continuously exposed to water) on special request of customer.

As standard, Fahlke offers Modbus and Profibus DP modules, however there is also the option to implement other modules individually – depending on customer needs. A communication method of the device is defined on the order. Due to changes in communication standards nowadays, there is also the possibility of equipping the actuators which are already on the objects in the new communication module.
